On May 12, an earthquake measuring 7.8 on the Richter scale hit Wenchuan County, Sichuan Province, resulting in a wide spread disaster and huge economic and property damages. All staff of Sinochem Corporation show sincere sympathies over the tragic events.
On May 13, Sinochem Corporation, the biggest shareholder of Sinofert, actively responded to the call of the Chinese State Council. In the spirit of “When disaster struck, help came from all sides”, Sinochem has decided to donate RMB 10 million and supplies with value of RMB1 million to Sichuan earthquake disaster area.
The above donated funds and materials will be sent to the disaster area through a proper way in a few days.
