It is understood from the Ministry of Finance that as of Aug. 23, the central finance has fully ordered the 18 billion of special fund subsidized on establishing small rural hydro facilities. This is aimed at further increasing the coverage of key counties in terms of small hydro facilities, so as to speed up the promotion of “water saving and yield increasing initiative” in the 4 northeastern provinces of the country.
