Zhang Rong, Deputy Chairperson and Secretary General of China Nitrogen Industry Association believes that in recent years, there are pressing problems in the development and evolvement of China’s nitrogen industry. Firstly, the capacity growth is too fast, resulting in serious over capacity. Secondly, capacity building is shifting to resource regions such as Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, setting production base and consumption area apart and therefore, the problems of water and transportation availability becomes more imminent. Thirdly, it is more pressing to resolve the issues of low utilization rate and high environmental risk of nitrogen, and the upgrading and transformation of the technology and service of nitrogen products.
