At 4pm on May 7, in Erdaohezi Village of Longjiabao County, Jiutai City, Jilin Province, Wang Jing was watching the no-tillage sowing machine working in his field. Wang is wearing a white T-shirt and the machine was leased from Agricultural Machinery Cooperative of the county. The efficiency of using this machine is high and sowing and fertilizing are done at the same time. Besides, half of the money can be saved as compared to the traditional way of growing.

Wang Jing said that he used to spend almost all the time in the field and it was impossible for him to wear a white t-shirt before. However, after farming for 20 years, Wang Jing finds out today that not only farming is easy, but also he has become the famous "King of Corn" in the area.

Wang Jing has increased his corn yield by 30% and he won the championship of "King of Corn Challenge",which was co-organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Sinofert. This is aimed at motivating the farmers to use more science in growing. Wang applied science in corn growing.
