Washington DC, 1 November 2022 － Mr. FENG Mingwei, Chairman of Sinochem Fertilizer Macao Limited and Dr. Maen F. Nsour, President and CEO of The Arab Potash Company PLC. (“APC”) signed their 2023-2025 Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) during the IFA Strategic Forum. According to the MOU, Sinochem Fertilizer will continue to be the exclusive agency for the marketing of potash from APC in China between 2023 and 2025.
Mr. Feng said, “This MOU is an extension and further development of the MOU both sides signed during the 1st China International Import Expo in 2018. APC and Sinochem are long-term and all-weather strategic partners with a solid cooperation foundation. Sinochem Fertilizer has always been dedicated to the promotion and service of Jordanian potash in China. This MOU renewal symbolizes further strategic cooperation between both parties, which will be conducive to steady production in APC and enhance its brand influence in China, and will also contribute to the joint efforts made by both sides to serve Chinese farmers, promote scientific fertilization and increase both yield and income for Chinese farmers.”
Both sides will continue to deepen and widen their cooperation, seek mutual development and make great efforts to promote trade and economic development of both countries, safeguard sustainable and steady potash supply in China and ensure food security.
